Your donation will contribute to support PSFCI programs.
The association will ensure that it is used in missions and programs
where it is most needed. All
PSFCI operations are based on a detailed assessment in order to investigate,
as accurately as possible, the needs for drugs, human resources, facilities,
training and logistics. This will mean efficient assistance for as many
people as possible, who have no access to health care.
Each program is being discussed and agreed upon by all the partners and
pre-studied by the Pharmaceutical Department of the association. They
ensure that the WHO’s guideline for drug donations and existing
national pharmaceutical policy are followed and the impact of the action
to be taken on the different elements of development of the country.
For PSFCI, helping means “assisting, giving support, collaborating
and going with”. It does not simply mean giving. It means examining
the obstacle that is limiting the access of populations to drugs and looking
with the local health workers at how to overcome it.
An assessment operation taking into account all possible parameters is
the keystone of a project’s success. That is why the assessment
operations are conducted by people with extensive experience in humanitarian
work: experienced pharmacist and administrator/logistician, able to examine
the scope of a PSFCI action in a given area.
